Mtunzini Forest Lodge
Kwa Zulu Natal, Mtunzini,
The resort is a birdwatcher's paradise with the abundance of bird species, including the extremely rare Palm Nut Vulture, which is almost synonymous with Mtunzini, and resides in the awe inspiring forest of Raphia Palms which surrounds this resort. The beaches, pristine and almost untouched, are accessible along a magnificent wooden bridge which crosses the Siyayi River and guests can enjoy the serene atmosphere whilst fishing from the shores. A network of trails has been established to offer residents the opportunity to experience the natural attractions of the area and spot some of the local wildlife such as bushbuck, bushpig and duiker.
